  • Beschrijving: A virtuous worker, Ieremias (Jeremiah), in his attempt to save a child who has been digging potatoes for seventeen whole years, has a car accident. When he recovers, he goes back to work, and upon returning home he is visited by the archangel Antaman, who takes him to Ouranoupolis (Heaven City), along with Machos, another deceased. The utterly sinless Ieremias asks God to allow him to go back to earth to pay a debt to the bank so that his house won’t be auctioned off. He sends him back, however, with Machos and also sends archangel Ezekiel, who immediately discovers the misery of the people. At the Bank, they don’t recognize Ieremias, other people live in his house now, the priest of the parish doesn’t offer them food and accommodation, and they fail to collect the money.
